A few years ago, a new Forza or Indiana Jones game meant buying an Xbox or a gaming PC. That has changed: Microsoft now releases many of its games on PlayStation 5, sometimes on the same day, sometimes months later. Here are the major titles available on PS5 as of September 2026.

Where to start
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle — a globe-trotting first-person adventure from MachineGames, and one of the most acclaimed Xbox releases of recent years.
- Forza Horizon 5 — open-world racing across Mexico; still one of the best-looking games on any console.
- Doom: The Dark Ages — a heavier, more medieval take on Doom’s combat.
- Avowed — a fantasy RPG from Obsidian set in the Pillars of Eternity world; the PS5 version arrived with a big anniversary update.
- Sea of Thieves — the best choice if you want to play with friends.
Game Pass or buy on PS5?
If you already play on Xbox or PC, these games are included with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and several are also in Game Pass Premium. PlayStation players buy them from the PlayStation Store. Not every Xbox game is coming to PS5, and timing varies, so check the PlayStation Store listing — you can wishlist games to get notified when they launch.
